At home in our two-room flat that had no hot water and no inside toilet facilities except an antiseptic portable container that was not uncomfortable to anyone who was used to a Michigan outhouse, but which was a cheerful gay flat with a fine view and a good mattress and springs for a comfortable bed on the floor, well and tastefully covered, and pictures that we liked on the walls, I told my wife about the wonderful place I had found.

“But Tatie, you must go by this afternoon and pay,” she said.

“Sure I will,” I said. “We’ll both go. And then we’ll walk down by the river and along the quais.”

“Let’s walk down the rue de Seine and look in all the galleries and in the windows of the shops.”

“Sure. We can walk anywhere and we can stop at some new café where we don’t know anyone and nobody knows us and have a drink.”

“We can have two drinks.”

“Then we can eat somewhere.”

“No. Don’t forget we have to pay the library.”

“We’ll come home and eat here and we’ll have a lovely meal and drink Beaune from the co-operative you can see right out of the window there with the price of the Beaune on the window. And afterwards we’ll read and then go to bed and make love.”

“And we’ll never love anyone else but each other.”

“No. Never.”

something gross

Remember back 15 or 20years ago when they first invented c-section and everybody thought the excruciating painful process of labor was to be over. Now, you know what's the "hottest" trend in delivery??? Answer: Orgasmic Birth!!!!!!
Well, according to experts, giving birth is a wonderful experience in physical and spiritual levels, and more importantly, it can induce orgasm. They even made a documentary out of it and won a few awards in some film academies.
And my reponse to this is: WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

update

I've been really stressed out lately. I only wish all the tortures can be over soon and I can enjoy my winter holidays. Well......not really a full holiday b/c I will go shadowing someone in the hospital for several days. Not that I been forced to......I volunteered in order to get some experience for my summer job which eventually will lead to my post-graduate job.

Anyway...... I bought lots of books during the school year and hopefully I can finish reading one third of them during the break. Some are literature classics and I've always wanted to read them: The brother Karamazov, The edge of razor, The glass bead game...... just to name a few. I'll get a ps3 and play some games. Main focus is platforms and racing game. Bernie will get a driving wheel and shifters just to add a better simulation experience.

Everything is good (trying to shift my mind away from papers and labs and exams)
